Don’t close your heart. Leave it open.

To open or to close the heart?
To love or to suffer from loving?
We live and feel through the heart.

To use your mind or to follow your heart?,
To use your logic or to follow your emotions?,
What to do?…What to choose?…What to follow?.

If you decide to use your logic,
You will know what love is,
But you won’t know how to love with passion.
But if you decide to follow your heart instead,
You will suffer, yes…
But you will know love in its purest expression.
And more than to know what love is,
You will feel it, you will live it.
With every fiber of your being.

Don’t close your heart.
Leave it open.
Leave it ready.
Leave it disposed.
And when you least expect it,
There will be what you were looking for,
There will be what you were waiting for,
The answer.
Loud, clear and palpable, right in front of you.

And, if you get mugged by impatience,
If you get mugged by doubts,
If you get mugged by questions:
What if?… should i?…Could i?.
Breathe and let the calm fill your heart.

But, don’t forget what is most important,
Don’t close your heart,
Leave it open.

Don’t be afraid to suffer from loving.
To love is to suffer,
Not to love is to suffer.
Suffering is part of loving,
Loving is part of suffering.

To love hurts, but it gratifies the soul.
To love is breathtaking, but it brings it back.
To love is life itself.

Don’t close your heart,
Leave it open…
